Prep vs Bellevue West

CP Offense – I’m really looking forward to seeing who Creighton Prep will carry the workload rushing the ball. 10 seniors had a rushing attempt last season, with Charmar Brown at the helm who had over 200 carries and 15 touchdowns. Will it be Ruby or Conigilo who will take a majority of those carries or will they have to split it up more with different weapons? CP Defense – The leading tacklers last year, Ezra Vedral with 81 TOT and Ahmar Brown with 100 TOT is amazing. It will be tough to replace ball hawks like those guys but 13 underclassmen recorded a tackle at some point during the season so they should be set with guys that can make plays if need be. Look for Zach McLeay who is listed at free safety to rack up some of those numbers this season.

I hope you like lightshows because this group will be putting on a performance no matter the opponent they see on the field. Daniel Kaelin 3000 plus passing yards last season, he led class A. Isaiah McMorris was 3rd all class in receiving yards, Daveon Hall was 12th. I think both of them have potential to make the top 8 this season. Ian Shepard top 10 in PAT’s made with over 55. The kids is going to get his reps this season. BW Defense – 5 of the leading defenders are gone so their defense will see some newer characters in the box. Be ready for Asher Jenkins to step up and make lots of tackles, be careful of some of those leading receivers to flip over and play some defense because they can smell the pass coming. They had 10 Interceptions last season.
