Southern/Diller-Odell vs FCEMF

SDO Thunder were triumphant over Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan 7-2 on Saturday at Geneva.

A wild pitch put SDO on the board in the top of the second.

#14 Amy Lauby, hit into a fielder’s choice, which helped FCEMF tie the game at one in the bottom of the third.

SDO captured the lead 3-1, in the top of the fourth after Scarlett Steensnes singled, and SDO scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Karrigan Henrichs earned the win for SDO. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking one. #23 Ashley Braun, took the loss for FCEMF. They went seven innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits, striking out eight and walking four.
