We had several submissions this week for our report. NebraskaTok’s Way to Play High School Sports is all about creating HYPE for schools in Nebraska. These short clips recognize the excellence demonstrated by high school players who made an impactful play, set a new record, or needed hype for playing great. We feature High School Athletes in this report, and if they include a highlight clip, it will be on TikTok. Make sure you submit your athlete to get on the report.

It is time for NebraskaToks Watchin’ You Report. NebraskaTok is all about delivering hype to Nebraska high school athletes. From fields to the court to the trails. We had several athlete submissions.

Here is My Watchin’ You Report, and several players from several sports around the state of Nebraska have caught my eye.

Let’s start with softball…

Tarisa Frans class of 2025 – Elkhorn South – The junior shortstop is hitting .533 with four RBI and three runs in her last five games.

Millard West Junior Macie Wyman tied a state record. She hit 3 home runs in a single game. Then, she just recently had a grand slam against Millard South.

Cali Bentz class of 2026 from Columbus Lakeview- Had 17 strikeouts in the 3-1 win over class c1 #1 Ashland Greenwood

Alisha McMurtry (2026 – Bellevue East)

The sophomore leads the Chieftains in almost every offensive category with a .429 average and .579 on-base percentage.  She’s also thrown 45 innings in the circle with 53 strikeouts.

Nebraska HS Football

Parker Borer, Hank Hudson-Boone Central – Borer, who showed he can run up some yards espescially like he did for 190 yards in the season opener versus Broken Bow, topped that by going off for 202 yards on 20 carries (no Tds) in the Cardinals huge 42-7 win over #1 rated Aurora.

Conor Booth-Wahoo Neumann – The Junior Nebraska recruit exploded for a massive 313 yards on just 14 carries and FIVE touchdowns in the Cavaliers 62-10 and showing why he will be playing at the next level. Booth escaped for 3 touchdown runs covering 64 yards, 35 yards, and 68 yards on just 6 carries in the FIRST QUARTER alone.

Alex Wilcoxson, Isaiah Weber-Gretna – Quarterback Wilcoxson and running back Weber were total dudes in the Dragons 48-28 win over Omaha Central. The 5-11, 180 pound Wilcoxson completed 14 of 20 passes for 239 yards and three touchdowns and added 93 yards rushing with an additional 3 scores on 14 carries in the rout. Isaiah Weber is just a stud who just missed a thousand yards rushing a year ago, ran 20 times for 172 yards, and a TD in the Dragons convincing win. Weber has 293 yards rushing after two games in 2023.

Jaekwon McQueen-Humboldt-TRS – Just a total Speedy player, bolted for 146 yards on 26 touches and a pair of scores in the Titans 44-26 win over Deshler McQueen has 280 yards rushing with 4 touchdowns in two games. Very talented football player in the SE Nebraska 8-Man football circles.

Sebastian Boyle -Scottsbluff – Boyle, Nebraska prep football’s returning rushing leader, fired up those legs and took off for 150 yards on 25 carries and a TD in the Bluffs 24-21 win over Class A North Platte.

My man, Ryker Evans, even though Hi-Line came up short. Ryker Evans is just the complete package! The speedy Evans completed 9-13 passes for 193 yards and 3 touchdowns, rushed 17 times for another 83 big ones with 2 more scores and made 10 stops on defense with an interception in a heartbreaking 36-32 loss to powerhouse North Platte St. Pats.

Keenan Valverde – After being held to 67 yards rushing in the Bluejays opening season loss to Wahoo, Valverde came back and meaning business in this game! Pierce’s 28-21 over a solid Columbus Scotus team. The senior and master of making the defense miss me, rushed for 300 yards on 31 carries, and scored every Pierce touchdown in the win.
