Fairbury vs Auburn Volleyball

Fairbury started off strong in their home debut in the 2023 campaign, winning the first set against the Auburn Bulldogs 25-8. The second and third sets of Auburn played more competitively, with the lead changing hands several times, before Fairbury ultimately took both sets 25-22. With the home win, Fairbury improved their record to 3-4.

Underclassmen have stepped up and filled roles left by last year’s outstanding senior class. Kill leaders versus Auburn were Freshman Evelyn Timmons (13) & Sophomore Destiny Vocelka (9). Destiny led the team with (5) Aces, with her older sister Deja Vocelka, Timmons, and fellow Freshman Taryn Hinman all tallying (2) Aces each Timmons (10), Himan (9), Deja Vocelka (8) & Destiny Vocelka (7) led the Jeffs in Digs.
